PK Stories: Letters to my younger self

There are few differences between a PK and any other normal person. The spotlight is just hotter. We come in all shapes, sizes, colors, and personalities. Some of us follow in our parents' footsteps into the wide world of ministry. Some of us rebel against what we feel is a calculated and scripted path by our parents. When referencing the behavior of some preachers' kids, the fact that their parents are in ministry is often illuded to being the reason of mischief or transgression. Yet, while we are like any other person, there are those who are completely unprepared for the life and journey of those who love, support and are born into the family of a preacher.

As you think about your journey, what would you tell your younger self if you had the opportunity? Yes, we learn as we grow and go through things and there may not be an ounce of regret present, so what words of encouragement would you share? What hope would you give?
